Lodgers can also access your VK to allow them to find a vacancy for a guest who is stumbling from one lodge to the next in hopes of finding something.

The Kiosk program is designed to act as an added profit center for your VC. Lodges should be charged by you for positioning on the Kiosk with a recommended minimum of $75 per year per Lodge in small communities and escalating pricing based on the Destinationsoft fee chart. Different communities will have to tailor this charge to best suit the clientele to allow for the costs applied to larger base listings.

The type of lodging or peruse the "All" category to get a feel for the offerings of your community. Either way they will see a full color photo along with complete descriptions of each lodge. Contact information allows the guest to call the Lodge of their choice and arrange their reservation. It is recommended that a local–call–restricted free telephone be located near the Kiosk.

Destinationsoft will color code your community Lodging areas based on your desired separation. Colors indicate specific areas like Airport, Downtown, Mid Town, Parks area, etc. This makes for a very simple locating solution, especially for visitors unfamiliar with your area.

There are icons that they can click on to easily add amenities to their description. Items like AAA, Pool, Pets, Amex, etc. are all there. Also included is an automated photo insert feature that allows the lodger or your staff to simply choose a photo from the files and it will insert and size automatically. Adding descriptions is simply a matter of typing in text and all of these items can be changed in an instant as desired.
